David Brown
Expertise
David is a partner in our London office. He specialises in shipping related personal injury claims arising from both off shore and on shore activities. David has a particular expertise in occupational disease claims and claims involving work related conditions, such as repetitive strain injuries. David acts mainly for ship owners and their insurers, P&I Clubs, underwriters and oil majors.
David also has extensive experience in handling general commercial disputes, both in the High Court and the County Courts.
David is head of the firm’s Sports Group and a Football Association Registered Lawyer.
Career
David joined Thomas Cooper as a trainee solicitor in 1996 and became a partner in 2004. He read history and politics at the University of London, completing the law conversion courses at The College of Law in Guildford.
