Nicholas is a partner in our London office and head of the commercial litigation department.
Nicholas led the team in the successful appeal of Blue Sphere Global Limited in the High Court, a decision which was subsequently upheld by the Court of Appeal, and has considerable experience advising on complex commercial fraud litigation.
Nicholas is a commercial litigation specialist and his experience encompasses a wide range of commercial matters including all forms of security documentation, letters of credit, insurance and finance related litigation with particular emphasis on Structured Products.
Nicholas also advises on domestic and international arbitrations.
Career
Nicholas joined Thomas Cooper in 1976 as an article clerk and became a partner in 1981. He is Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights. Nicholas read law at Pembroke College, Oxford.
