Robert works in our Shipping Department handing both wet and dry work with a particular emphasis on admiralty law.
Robert has handled a wide range of matters concerning collisions, ship fires, dangerous cargoes, towage and salvage and unsafe berths. As well as this, Robert has thorough experience of offshore contentious work including representing one of the UK’s leading offshore marine contractors and a major Norwegian seismic survey company. Robert has also assisted clients during MAIB investigations and is part of our maritime crime team.
Robert joined Thomas Cooper in 2012 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2014. He spent 6 months in our Piraeus office during his training.
Robert studied undergraduate English Literature at the University of Birmingham, attaining a First Class honours degree. Robert undertook the GDL and LPC at the College of Law, York.
