Richard is a solicitor in our London office. He has experience in all aspects of personal injury and fatality claims with a focus on marine related matters, acting for ship owners and P&I Clubs. He is also instructed in relation to clinical negligence disputes and litigation.
Richard has significant experience in dealing with claims arising out of occupational diseases (including industrial deafness, vibration white finger, and high-value asbestos claims) and other work related conditions.
Richard also regularly advises cruise and ferry operators in relation to holiday claims and disputes, and has particular experience and interest in claims relating to Norovirus outbreaks (and their prevention and control) aboard cruise ships.
Richard qualified as a solicitor in 2003, having joined the firm as a trainee in 2001. He read Modern History, Economic History and Politics at Royal Holloway, University of London and received a Diploma in Law from City University.
